Who We Are
NW FL GREAT DANE RESCUE (NWFLGDR) is a group of
people who exist to place stray or abandoned Great Danes in loving,
adoptive homes that will provide for their care and well-being. We do
not have a specific shelter location. We are an organization of
volunteers and foster homes who cover the NW Florida Panhandle and
Mobile, AL area.

Everyone who works with NW FL Great Dane Rescue does so on a volunteer
basis. Our running costs are strictly vet bills and daily maintenance
(food, collars, treats, beds, leashes, (toys ect) The adoption fees help
to defer most of the running bills, but our volunteers still end up
paying out of pocket expenses. If you want to help a Dane in rescue,
five dollars is a huge amount... a leash is just as important! With all
the Great Dane Breeders in our area we are having an extremely
difficult time placing the Danes in Rescue. Please Pass On The Word!
