"WE HAVE FILED OUR 501(C)3, TAX EXEMTION WITH THE I.R.S."

  We have been considered tax exempt with the state of Florida since March 2008, and now we filed on January 2nd, 2010 with the I.R.S.

  On behalf of NorthWest Florida Great Dane Rescue, Inc. to all you, our supporters, fosters, adopters, and contributors; we wish to thank you.  Without you, many Great Danes would of been Put-To-Sleep (PTS).  There is still much more we can do, but with your continued support, NWFGDR, Inc. will continue to grow, support, assist the public along with the local and state Animal Controls, Humane Societies, P.A.W.S. and Veterinarians within the 5 states we now cover.

NW FL GREAT DANE RESCUE Inc. (NWFLGDR Inc.) is a group of people who exist to place stray or abandoned Great Danes in loving, adoptive homes that will provide for their care and well-being. We do not have a specific shelter location. We are an organization of volunteers and foster homes based in Pensacola FL.  We cover the NW Florida Panhandle from Panama City, FL to Ocean Springs, MS and southern AL.

Everyone who fosters for NW FL Great Dane Rescue Inc. does so on a volunteer basis. Our running costs are strictly vet bills and daily maintenance (food, collars, treats, beds, leashes, toys, ect) The adoption donations help to defer most of the vet bills, but our volunteers still end up paying out of pocket expenses. If you want to help a Dane in rescue, five dollars is a huge amount... a leash is just as important!
